Getting to know you:

- Most famous contact in Nina’s phone: Mary Lou Retton
- Nina’s favorite quote: “what lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us” Emerson
- A little known fact about Nina: During COVID lockdown, Nina is trying to get her split back – she wants to be flexible in her old age
- The biggest influence in life: No specific person, rather a collection (mentors, friends, and family) but, her coaches along the way played a major role.
- Dinner with anyone, dead or alive: Oprah, Ryan Holiday, Trevor Noah, Sheryl Sandberg, and The Rock
- What would Nina be up to if not doing what she’s doing: Cirque Du Soleil in a crazy costume performing outrageous trampoline stuff.
- One thing Nina believes that others might think is crazy: I believe we each emit energy that others can physically feel. I can feel that negative energy when I am close to someone who’s in a bad place – I think others believe it. You know that guy that steps into the dugout or into a meeting and you don’t want him to sit next to you, or that person on the train or that bar that puts off a really bad vibe – I can feel that.
- Morning ritual: I open the curtains and look out the window as soon as I get out of bed. Just take in the fact that it is a new day. I am fortunate to live on a tidal creek, so on most days, I like to quietly drink my coffee on the dock – no phone, no people.
- Most recent books Nina read: Stillness is the Key, The Quantum Leap Strategy (go-to book)
